Mandatory Requirements
Following are the requirements to qualify for the Program
Applicant need to invest in Property not less than €350,000 for minimum 5 years.
One time minimum contribution of €650,000 to the Government of Malta’s National Development & Social fund
Or
Rental Contract arrangement for not less than €16,000 per annum for minimum 5 years
Investment of €150,000 into Bonds or Equity on the Malta Stock Exchange.
Required Health insurance cover of minimum €50,000 per family member acceptable worldwide
Pass a Fit & Proper exam
Must have been legally resident in Malta for minimum period of 12 months.
Processing of Application.

Following are the application process:
Consultation with Sovereign residency & Citizenship advisor to discuss & determine suitable program & investment options.
Sovereign advisor then prepare a comprehensive offer and client engagement letter with complete details of the benefits, mandatory requirements & applicable investment options to the Malta Individual Investor program.
Confirmation of travel arrangements to Malta. To do this applicants require a valid passport & Schengen visa. So it is good to stay for minimum three to four working days to accomplish with all these.
On visit Sovereign Malta team assist the applicants with all the requirements & also assist in finding suitable property leasing.
Sovereign is appointed as power of Attorney, So Sovereign assist the applicants prepare and submit an e-residency permit application and submit their biometrics. It takes not less than 10 working days for the e-residency permit to be issued. Then only Sovereign will submit the complete IIP application.
Within 90 days of the submission of an IIP application, Identity Malta will verify whether the application has been certified as formally correct and that all relevant information provided by the applicant has been verified by one or more independent due diligence agents.
Thirty days from the date of verification Identity Malta will further review the application and confirm whether the application has been approved in principle.
After approval Identity Malta will issue a Letter Of Approval in principle, then remaining qualification requirements should then be met and supporting evidence provided to identity Malta.
Within two years (usually around 12 months), but not less than six months from the date of application and subject to a verification that the conditions of the letter of approval in principle have been satisfied, a certificate of naturalization is issued in the name of the applicant.
The applicant is required to make an oath of allegiance after which the certificate of naturalization becomes effective and their passport will be issued.

All the required forms & supporting documents must filled in English language or, if the original language of the document is not in English, the documents need to be submitted along with an authenticated translation.
Fee Schedule & Required contributions
